Settings A6700
I was planning on getting an A6700 for its video capabilities! That's disappointing to know that you can't lock AF tracking in video. Thanks Ben.

Maintenance
On smaller housings I've taken off the Nauticam handle/tray and opted to use ultralights. Easier to remove and travel. Also easier and cheaper to mail your housing for service. Larger housings I've had get taken apart once yearly and fasteners cleaned, replaced if needed, and greased.

Name this Eel
I'm not certain about the species, but certainly Gymnothorax. It has the look of a Stout, too, but those are pretty small. I wonder if those white rings are moray ringworm 😉

Settings A6700
I haven't heard much discussion of NTSC v PAL of late. Seems underwater videographers like at least 60p to gather enough detailed information and slow down fast moving action without degrading images. And I don't think I'd venture to 120p unless you really want to work with slow motion and don't mind that heinous crop. Sony's autofocus is so good, there may not be much benefit in switching from the monitor to the viewfinder, which I would use if I was focusing manually. Plus, the viewfinder at 2.36 mil resolution isn't the greatest. I would keep the standard video on button and assign switching to a favorite menu item. As primarily a stills shooter I tend to set white balance to AWB or daylight 5600k, but for video I will venture into setting manual white balance at depth, or AWB with a warming filter to 15m, and lights deeper than that. I really like stabilization -- good stuff. Here is an unstabilized, unedited clip: A6000 in housing with 16-50 kit lens. AWB. This is Point Panic, a favorite south Oahu winter dive spot, with Diamond Head in the background. The camera was balanced on my knee. MAH00895.MP4

Case and camera to start uw photography
There are great mirrorless systems now that are full frame. Canon, Nikon, Sony. There are also smaller sensors within those systems, and let's not forget m43. Some of the best ergonomics you will find for stills is in OM Systems, with industry leading image stabilization. And superb video capabilities from Panasonic. If you're comfortable shooting Fuji above water, why not invest in housing those cameras? They're quite good by reputation, though I've never used them. Nauticam houses the XT series, and the medium format Fujis - but this is a very expensive proposition. Seafrogs works, though I've never heard of anyone servicing them: https://seafrogs.com.hk/collections/fujifilm?page=3

Nauticam newest MFO-1
I think you are correct, an improvement in image quality shooting through a flat macro port, with improvements in magnification and range of focus. Here is the Nauticam product page: https://www.nauticam.com/products/mid-range-focus-optimizer-1-mfo-1

Two 4000 lumen video lights or one 10,000-15,000 lumen light?
@aquabluedreams There are a couple of used 4000k Kraken lights on eBay. Here's a link to the cheaper of the two: https://www.ebay.com/itm/305857241328?_skw=kraken+video+light&itmmeta=01JE57NGQ0AY8MJYTJQCDM8GJJ&hash=item47368320f0:g:zJkAAOSwE7NnGV~Q&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlDxTjXLweNgO3%2BZHdMs9k2WaPMOQ1I53ZH2VXyLNWGBw9X02k3VaHgFhcOEPgmh7hfDOmbwAjpNdePMCvUFHpIoJWap5GBCnO5LeOqsVK65XXEctE01jHZIwXrMOMuV5f28XrgDeefdabeiFs9kHo--7Q6Osf3DhQSEAAq3DbqxA%2Be8KnPJAEBjXkiwHBKzRMtK5%2BlaAho%2FHWq%2FPkZiegtsPUrrZODyAKrfXnQ2raHsY0oMuz14lbTTvJpBgQxFm8%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8yL1qfxZA

WA shooting with 3xZ240
Hi Kees, Were you thinking of having the third off-camera, more like a remote? Or using this on the rig? It's an interesting proposition, but it may just be unwieldy. Perhaps the simplest course is to shoot as wide as you can and get as close as you can. I shoot Z240s also, but I haven't tried this.

BackscatterXTerminator
I hope I didn't come across as angry, and the other commenters didn't come across to me as angry. Far from it. This has been an good back and forth on the pros and cons of this new software in my opinion.
