I always use Davinci YRGB..its much simpler to use... but the configurations are flexible depending what you want output or the project requirements

• In Non-Color Managed YRGB: You apply the plugin to normalize footage to Rec 709 manually.

• In YRGB Color Managed: To use the plugin, you must set the clip's Input Color Space to "Same as Timeline" and set the project's input DRT to "None" to avoid double-management, as explained in the GP-Tune Tutorial.

Thats correct, the free DR versions dont have NR.

Ive trial Neat video, but i think is too expensive.

At some point i was thinking to get DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor Keyboard, that comes with Davinci Resolve Studio ( paid version) but the GP-Tune is good enough for my content.

One more question: I use GP-TUNE as IDT, I correct WB and contrast if necessary. I didnt understand if the last node should be a CST to get rec.709 before delivery.

With GP-tune transform im having mix results, and since im using the free davinci resolve im limited.

What i do is, i have saved presets, and quickly i can change from gp-tune to IDT

With gp-transform (right image) there much less saturation in color.

But the flexibility of GP-tune plugin, i can correct the exposure without making a mess.

Labs on Mission is now mostly feature matching HERO13, and starting to add a few extra features. The new DTMF detector might seems weird for most users, but it can serve as is very inexpensive multi-cam controller, or for very long range cable control, where USB or WiFi is impractical (Rocket launches, deep water ROVs, gaussian spat camera arrays, etc.)

P.S. I forget to document one more cool feature

- Added DIOP=x - Experimental diopter correction. Adding a diopter lens will modify the distortion, and impact stabilization, this attempts to compensate. e.g. $DIOP=4 for +4 diopter lens.

Ps: Theres a bug on this version 400 mbits dont work on this version 2.00.70, its limited to 240 Mbits

In davinci resolve 21 free I'm using GP-Tune plugin as suggested but ... I combined such input transform with REFERENT DWG TO REC709, the Curren Kelly free LUT as final output.

I used pre clip group with GP-Tune and post clip group with the CK's LUT. It works fine. Bye Giacomo

Recently i bought used ipad mini (A17) + Apple pencil... i want something more portable than a computer to take with me on liveaboard/Hollidays and do small color grade tasks..

Test it for couple days with davinci resolve free version....Aces transform ( GP-Tune transform) but the colors/algorithm numbers dont seem good enough for GP-LOG2 use... The xtremesuff developer told me to use DCTL i need the studio version for the iPad..

Decide to give it a go on davinci studio for ipad, and im able to use DCTL and full version of GP-TUNE transform, the diference is night and day... but the ipad version has some limitations that for my use case is not big deal.

Did side by side color grade Ipad 8,3" vs Macbook pro 16" and they match, but sometimes is painful and frustrating to use the ipad to color grade, since theres a small learning curves, like cut full audio from the clip..... the job can be done, but for extreme details i will keep the computer.

Yes you need gt-tune transform for ACES + free davinci version, grading is not so flexible if you have diferent cameras and shot with different settings..

Now I've DR21 studio version. I bought DCTL by xtremestuff too, as you suggested.

Do you use GP-TUNE+ Transform? I suppose + has more controls not very effective in my case. Last but not least, a LUT is also provided together the DCTL: I suppose LUT is not necessary using DCTL as first node.
