  3. Ive used to work in 1000 passenger ferry boat in English Channel for 15 years.. Weekly drills, fire fighting training, all kind of procedures you would expect to save lifes. All the furniture on board is fire-retardant, sofas, beds, carpets, curtains and walls, to comply with SOLAS most commonly stands for Safety of Life at Sea. Interior Fabrics & Furnishings: Soft furnishings, curtains, bedding, and wall coverings must be inherently fire retardant or treated with certified sprays (such as Flametect NX2 or Emalfon i) to prevent the rapid spread of flames, smoke, and toxic gases. Structural Materials: Areas like engine rooms, flooring, and guest cabins often require fire-rated glass and specialized marine plywood (e.g., Mikasa Marine) to slow down combustion. According to AI, the Maldives Maritime industry must be comply with SOLAS for vessels over 500 Gross tonnage (GT) the 4 Yachts from emperor have between 32m and 44m, that's about 350GT, leaving them below the Weight limit for SOLAS complaince, that why the fire spread so quickly, the materials are not fire-retardant. ps: Some Luxury superyacht like the Galaxy Sky has a class of the Maritime Register of Shipping and complies with all standards for the safety and operation of ships (IACS), according to the international conventions Solas and Marpol. @TimG first hand experience its a very important sharing to others , ive pass it to the group that im going to the Maldives in the end of the year ( also Liveaboard emperor). Im glad everyone manage to get out safely, material stuff are secondary and replaceable, human lives are not.
  4. Full HD + 960fps + Davinci Resolve 🤟🤟 That is crazy... https://www.instagram.com/reels/DYAFG0-ClNM/
  5. With gp-transform (right image) there much less saturation in color. But the flexibility of GP-tune plugin, i can correct the exposure without making a mess.
  6. With GP-tune transform im having mix results, and since im using the free davinci resolve im limited. What i do is, i have saved presets, and quickly i can change from gp-tune to IDT
  7. Thats correct, the free DR versions dont have NR. Ive trial Neat video, but i think is too expensive. At some point i was thinking to get DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor Keyboard, that comes with Davinci Resolve Studio ( paid version) but the GP-Tune is good enough for my content. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/store/davinci-resolve-and-fusion/edit-keyboards/W-DRE-13
  8. Mission 1 Pro… first impressions underwater https://www.reddit.com/r/gopro/s/aTAaWhGgz6
  9. I always use Davinci YRGB..its much simpler to use... but the configurations are flexible depending what you want output or the project requirements In Non-Color Managed YRGB: You apply the plugin to normalize footage to Rec 709 manually. In YRGB Color Managed: To use the plugin, you must set the clip's Input Color Space to "Same as Timeline" and set the project's input DRT to "None" to avoid double-management, as explained in the GP-Tune Tutorial.

  22. There a error on this post above Gopro MAX 2 or previous Gopro Generations are backwards compatible with UHS-II card, but speeds remain at UHS-I Lexar polar pro cards express cards are new type of card that requires microSD Express (PCIe 3.0 + NVMe 1.3) for full speed, only compatible with Nintendo so far, its also backwards compatible with GOPROs but speeds remain at UHS-I. The Gopro M1PRO series its unknown if support UHS-II cards, (example Lexar Gold Series V60 256GB A2) If the Gopro M1PRO series continue to support UHS-i cards the V30 A2 C10 U3 should be fine for 8K60
