  2. I always use Davinci YRGB..its much simpler to use... but the configurations are flexible depending what you want output or the project requirements In Non-Color Managed YRGB: You apply the plugin to normalize footage to Rec 709 manually. In YRGB Color Managed: To use the plugin, you must set the clip's Input Color Space to "Same as Timeline" and set the project's input DRT to "None" to avoid double-management, as explained in the GP-Tune Tutorial.
  3. The Mission 1 series according to the developer will be so good underwater that the Dive=1 feature from Gopro labs is no longer required.. But the option to lock white balance will be available..

  10. David Newman from Gopro Labs said in Las vegas that the Mission 1 cameras with NO AIRFLOW (sitting on the desk) running 8K60 or 4K120 will overheat after 40 minutes. In real world use (with airflow) use at 77F or 25C (Gopro testing) it will run until the battery drains out

  15. There a error on this post above Gopro MAX 2 or previous Gopro Generations are backwards compatible with UHS-II card, but speeds remain at UHS-I Lexar polar pro cards express cards are new type of card that requires microSD Express (PCIe 3.0 + NVMe 1.3) for full speed, only compatible with Nintendo so far, its also backwards compatible with GOPROs but speeds remain at UHS-I. The Gopro M1PRO series its unknown if support UHS-II cards, (example Lexar Gold Series V60 256GB A2) If the Gopro M1PRO series continue to support UHS-i cards the V30 A2 C10 U3 should be fine for 8K60

  19. Key Aspects of 8K30 Open Gate (2026 GoPro MISSION 1 Pro/ILS): Resolution: 7680 x 5760 (44.2 megapixels per frame). Sensor Usage: 1.0-inch Type 4:3 sensor (50MP). Frame Rate: 30 frames per second Vertical & Horizontal Simultaneously: It captures a much taller image than standard 16:9, making it ideal for creating vertical (9:16) content without losing significant resolution. Higher Quality Digital Zoom: Because the resolution is higher than 4K UHD (7680x4320), it allows for significant zooming or cropping in post-production while maintaining 4K quality. A few number of people would not need so many megapixels, especially in Video, for pictures anyone that want that 1:1 capture is nice to have all the detail available... Also the Micro SD card needs to be V60 or V90 to handle 8K Video, currently the fastest card available is the Lexar Play pro microSDXC express card with 900MB/s read and 600MB/s write (+-120€ Amazon for 500GB, or 5 hour recording ) V30 means 30 MB/s minimum sequential write speed, which is good enough for 4K video. V60 and V90 handle higher frame rates and also 8K video. 8K H.265 Open Gate (30fps) Storage Estimates: High Compression (approx. 200 Mbps): ~1.5 GB per minute / 90 GB per hour. Moderate Compression (approx. 300 Mbps): ~2.25 GB per minute / 135 GB per hour. This Gopro article should be updated when the new cameras arrived https://community.gopro.com/s/article/microSD-Card-Considerations?language=pt_BR

  22. I will order the Gopro Mission 1 pro when is available .... But that FOV will need wide angle lens to remove distortion underwater. Since Gopro also announced Waterproof case up to 60m for the new cameras, theres going to be some wait time for third party accessory to attach a compatible lens. It would be great if AOI UH-ACT is compatible with Mission 1 pro with a new 3D printing to accommodate the new cameras
  23. Lens M43
  24. The Mission 1 Pro is scheduled to be available to pre-order starting May 21, and it will be widely available on May 28. Pricing, however, was not revealed at the time of publication due to the ongoing issues with flash memory production. The GoPro Mission 1 doesn’t have built-in storage, but it does require RAM. Expect final pricing to be announced closer to the pre-order date. Coming later this year is the Mission 1 ILS, which replaces the fixed lens with a Micro Four Thirds mount. More details on that camera are expected closer to its announcement date, which is scheduled for sometime in Q3 2026.
