I'm told it's the result of Olympus giving up on underwater housings thus freeing up their out-sourced manufacturer to produce items, including strobes, for other suppliers....

Passed down knowledge or is there something to read about online for this? In any case, competition is good, always has been, always will be.

What seems interesting is HSS with fiber optic, pending some positive feedback.
