Please could someone advise a trusted Dive Insurance company for the outer reaches of Raja Ampat...

Thanks in advance.

DAN insurance for emergency evacuation cover plus cover for dive injuries. However read the fine print: you really need to have general travel insurance as well if you want cover for delays, missed connections, cover of your gear if you want cover for these items as well. Some dive operations I recall offer DAN on site as well. The fine print also says you need to stay within your qualifications for cover to apply - such as depth limits.

Like @Chris DAN + Travel insurance (my solution for the moment)

You have a combine solution

Travel and Dive Accident Insurance Plans – DiveAssure offers you a wide range of benefits.

It is not cheap but seems to be a good "all in one" solution
You have some good feature like
You can cover some dive day lost because wetter or if someone had problem on the boat and the liveboard need to be shorten

I have DAN for diving, "Fotofairsicherung" for the photographic equipment (I pay approx. 450 Euro/year and am insured for up to 14 kEuro per incidence (they pay what the replacement costs, not just the value of the, sometimes, old equipment) and a standard travel insurance by ÖAMTC (this is the local car drivers club, comparable to AAA in US)...

Danke Wolfang, for this insurance I didn't know.. It's probably a good solution for us. Need to show if it possible to take this as french in France.
Thanks

Again I should mention read the fine print, insurance products differ in every market and exclusions and limitations will be different depending on your home country. If you read the fine print for DAN they specifically state it it is add on insurance which makes up the difference over what your travel insurance pays for. As I recall DAN membership provides evacuation insurance and the actual Insurance pays for DCI treatments if they are required. The price is quite reasonable.

The photogear insurance sound interesting. I will look into that for sure.

As for regular travel insurance and incidents / accidents, I am covered by my home insurance for 45 days abroad, assisted by SOS international, evac, treatments everything.
