  1. So here we go, for sale full Sony A7RV setup. Preferred to sell as complete, but open to some other options also. I do have buyer for housing only (possibly), but for convenience reasons all at once is preferred. Sony A7RV body, 30k-ish shutter, 2 batteries Nauticam flash trigger for Sony (#26302) NA-A7RV Nauticam housing for A7RV, padded case (#17433) Vacuum valve II M14 (#25624) USB-C M16+M24-M16 adapter (#26325+26326) WACP-C (#85205) N100 30mm extension (#37401) N100 port for 90mm macro (#37126) Sony SEL2860 28-60 lens Nauticam zoom gear for 28-60 lens (#37163) Sony SEL90M28G 90mm macro Nauticam focus gear for 90mm macro (#37147) Obviously cannot say everything is brand new. Camera and lenses are used for UW only. Housing has 4 trips on it, with 95% macro shooting, WACP has maybe 10 dives. More than happy to take more detailed pictures for interested. Located in Finland if anyone wants to come and have a look 🤣 Price for everything is EUR 9000 or USD 10500 for now and reasonable offers are always welcome. Shipping will be added. I do have the possibility to DELIVER in person in Europe (mostly cities where Finnair flies) and possibly to US as well next week or 3 weeks time. Preferred payment would be cash on personal delivery but bank transfer (Wise) is also ok.
  2. I think there was a report on some thread, or could have been Scubaboard or old Wetpixel, that someone got hit in Mexico City also.
  3. Lens has shipped today in China and few friends have theirs already. Surely Nauticam has one recieved in addition to their pre-production version and port will be out next week.
  4. I started to look and i cant find the Saga 20mm extension anywhere. Not on Saga website or any of their listed dealers.
  5. This is why you have a guide/spotter, to haul all the extra lights, strobes, snoots, lenses.
  6. Any educated guess if EMWL is still #3 with this lens? --edit As most would guess, Nauticam will be coming with dedicated port around the time of release. They are working on it currently. (Got email from Asian supplier). Hopefully we get a good (read easy and cheap) solution for TC's aswell. They seem to be bit "off" in length at 17.2mm and 27.2mm.
  7. Reviving this old thread. Does anyone know if the Kraken version of this uses usb 3.1/3.2 cables? Nauticam is old 2.0 and painfully slow to transfer files. Also Kraken is half the price.
  8. But also the camera body doesnt sit right on port opening, its some 30mm inside the housing. Sorry bad picture.
  9. N120 Macro port 87 is 110mm long.
  10. Most likely Nauticam atleast will make a new port for this. 20mm extension with the current port might work. Or some combination from N120 ports and 35.5mm N120-N100 adapter. But luckily the lens is cheap 🤣
  11. Looks to be actually not that expensive if this is true:
  12. Like most Chinese companies, the website is not as good or updated like we are used to. There is macro port for Nikon/Z8. But i am impressed by the aggressive pricing, and like i said before seems like most products are copies, but cant see too much new innovation to be made in housings anymore. They also have range of video lights (15k lumen for 530$), strobes, floats ect ect, all reasonably priced. Maybe they will be at next BOOT show, looks like they were in 2024.
  13. It says so in the specifications. But the manual says they need to purchased separately. Looks very much like a copy that has taken elements from other brands. The port locking lever looks pretty much Nauticam, as are other dials and knobs. What looks good in the housing is that the vacuum is dedicated and still has M14 and M28 ports.
  14. I can definitely see where you are coming from with this analogy. Maybe Seafrogs are giving away almost free crack for future sales 🤣 But competition is always welcome, hopefully they can keep prices low and get fair chunk of marketshare so Nauticam (and Marelux + others) might lower their prices. But thats just wishful thinking. But going to keep eyes out on future trips for housings by them.
  15. Just hoping the price wont climb too high as it is GM lens. Sonyalpharumors guesstimate that very close to 2k USD. Yikes. Is it going to be 1.3k better image quality than the Tamron? Doubt it.
  16. I have seen weedys at Nudi Falls few times, but that was about 8 years ago. Paddleflaps on other sites.
  17. Here is some data from Sony equipment: https://www.sonyalpharumors.com/effects-of-tariffs-sony-a7siii-now-sells-for-800-more-than-before/
  18. GM sounds very expensive addition to our already expensive hobby ☹️ Plus new ports of course.
  19. Estimated release date: December, 2025. So maybe next summer?
  20. I dont remember that much rubbish there anymore. I've been there 1-2 times a year for a long time. Yes, there is some, but not that much imo. Or i might have just gotten used to it. Might actually be this. Closer to Bitung and the villages have better chance surely. Ambon on the other hand...
  21. What you need for the DIY is optical plexiglass/acrylic, 3D printer, waterproof sealant. Some CAD skill will be needed aswell. I think hardest part is to find he plexiglass for a decent price and made into a dome shape. Essentially you want minimum 12" dome, but something close to 20" could be done also depending on your needs. If you do go the DIY route, please document it for others in the DIY section of the site.
  22. Looks like the price has been updated to 1800$ :(
  23. End of September UW Technics will have their hybrid strobe available (hopefully). Flash power 150 Ws, Color Temperature 5500K Professional Video-light 18000 lumen, true colors CRI 92, Color Temperature 5000K.
  24. Heh, yes ofc the strobes are on top and lights bottom, not dual up/down attachment. Bit too early when looking at the picture.
