[4K] - Night Diving Off Vancouver Island

Featured Replies

Filmed on a Sony A7Siii in an Aquatica Digital housing using a Sony 90mm F2.8 Macro lens and 2 x 18,000 lumen Kraken video lights.  Also using an Anglerfish external monitor.

Lovely, great bunch of critters you have there, and a welcome change from the usual tropical-water suspects!

The lumpsuckers are incredible - it might not be a highlight, but I really love the night shot of the school of Pacific herrings!

cheers

Thank you!  I appreciate it.  Lumpsuckers are a local diver favorite when the season is right!  They can be pretty tough to find.

Great! Short enough to keep the attention high and beautiful images.

It's the Lingcod that I liked most: Looking first like a still image then moving the eyes...

Nice!

Great video. Like others, I loved the lumpsuckers and the octopuses.
