Uneven mobility of strobe arms
Couldn’t agree more on the “only buy them once”. I’ve had my ULCS arms and clamps 24 years and they’re still as good as new.

Front and Rear Curtain Sync
For folks who are new to Waterpixels or, more importantly maybe, underwater photography more generally, would anyone like to have a crack at explaining the difference (other than the obvious one!) between front and rear curtain sync? The pros and cons? The why bothers? It'd make for an interesting read and perhaps shine some light on a slightly obscure avenue.

Uneven mobility of strobe arms
I wonder if ULCS Ken has any thoughts on this issue? @UltralightCameraSolutions

Nikon D500 or Z8, and Ikelite or Nauticam (or similar)?
Good luck with it, Tess. I think that'd be quite some interest in what you discover and choose. If you have the time, do post a read out. I really think "feel" is important in the choice.

Flying to Kaimana
Folks I'd welcome views and experiences, please, on flying into Kaimana to join a liveaboard trip which sails from there - and ends up in Sorong. I'm running a trip using Emperor Divers there next year. I'm guessing Garuda via Jakarta but any Tips, Tricks, Does and Don'ts would be most welcome. Thanks!

New firmware for Nikon Z8
Nikon have announced a firmware upgrade for the Z8 to v 2.0.1 This tackles various bugs including a "green colour cast occurring with some pictures taken".

Fisheye for Sony FF
If at all possible, just check it out with whatever lens(es) and camera body you plan to use. I found with Nikon cameras/lenses and the Kenkos, that with some combinations there is no autofocus or aperture control. What would work, for example on a D500 would not work on a Z6/Z9; similarly what might work with a Tokina lens would not work with a Nikkor. I ended up needing two slightly different model 1.4TC Kenkos to use with a D500, Z6/Z9, the Tokina 10-17 and the Nikkor 8-15.

Bug in LRc 13.2?
Just found this: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-14-3-sonoma-wb-picker-loupe-tool-is-stuck-after-first-click/idi-p/14378458 Seems to be a known issue. I have posted about it though on LR website.

Marelux Apollo III
Doesn't that make a pleasant and unusual change! If we could now get US-style baggage allowance on flights.....

Bug in LRc 13.2?
Yep, I get the same, Wolfgang. I do see though that as I move the eyedropper across the image, the colour of the image changes in the Navigator view. But, yes, no change in the enlarged eyedropper image on the right-hand module. I had a look on the Lightroom Queen and no bugs are reported as yet for LRC 13.2 I'm running the same OS as you on a Mac Studio.

Bubble in WWL-C Wet Lens?
Is the port clean on the inside? Or a dirt mark on the lens?

Prescription Masks
For anyone else, like me, who didn’t know what IOL was: “Intraocular lenses (IOL)”. Essentially eye surgery to replace the lens. Sounds rather scary…… Really glad it worked for you RomiK.

Hi Robert! This list is indeed pinned in the Tutorials and How-Tos thread.

Back to Bonaire
Hey Marc I'd be interested to hear about that too. Like you, I have been many times and was definitely seeing a decline in the health of the reef and the consequent decline in marine life. Our last trip there was in 2019, pre-pandemic, and have to admit we were starting to get bored with the diving there - even macro life was becoming sparse. If you're looking for something in the region, have you looked at Saint Maarten? We spend almost three years living there and loved the diving. Really good marine diversity and abundance.
