  1. Stick an AirTag into anything hold loaded. Then, worst comes to the worst, you should be able to see where it has gone.
  2. Hi Bernard! Great to have you with us here. Welcome aboard.
  3. We recognise you indeed, Xterra! Welcome to your new home. We hope you enjoy it.

Hi Xterra Yep, you can indeed change your flag. If you go into Account>Profile>Settings>Settings Are>Country, you can chose country.

    Sold! Thanks, Kirsty

    Done!
  7. Sorry! That was not very clear. I asked Oskar about a diaphragm version of the Retra LSD. He said it was something they had looked at but decided against as they were fragile and prone to breaking. But... I live in hope they could solve that problem. I like the masks but being able to dial in a circular adjustment (point taken on the shape issue, Barmaglot) would be terrific.

Hi mochikat! Great to have you with us. Yep, you'll see lots of old Wetpixel hands here; and yes, so sad about Wetpixel and Adam. We really hope you like the new site. And.... [drum roll]..... Congratulations on being the 500th member!!!
  10. Yeah, that's what Oskar said when I asked about it: they are fragile and prone to breaking or jamming. Made me wonder about the Marelux one.
  11. I just love the idea of a snoot with a diaphragm. I know Retra have looked at it…. but….. Come on Oskar!
  12. I agree with the guys, Chip: get a snoot. It makes a massive difference to macro photography. And they are so fun to play around with - well at least once the early frustrations are out of the way!
  13. I’m a warm water fan for sure. The Red Sea trip we did last August in the St John’s area, my computer showed a temperature several times at depth of over 30 degrees. Moving north back towards Port Ghalib first dive of the day temperature on the surface was 28. It felt cold! Life eh?

Great to have you with us! I’m guessing Pacific Northwest….
  15. Barmaglot’s point is a fair one. The only thing I’d add is that there’s nothing worse than going for the lower model…. then constantly thinking I should have bought the better one. Been there, regretted that.
  16. the new museum is open. We were there in August last year. The display of Pharaoh mummies is incredible. Check out on YouTube the ceremony that was used to move them. Aside of Giza, the citadel of Salah El-Din is worth a visit and the Hanging Church
  17. Do you get the same problem if the UWT is not there? Based on the picture that’s emerging, sounds to me too like a button alignment problem.
  18. All the so-so comments about the S&S strobes certainly mirror all I have read. I wouldn’t buy them. I had Inon Z240s for years and thought them terrific. But Retra, yep…. Top class! Expensive, yes, but I think worth the cost.

Hey Tyler! Great to have you with us. Welcome!
  23. Yay! Pavel, great to have you here - finally. I think the band is almost back together!
  24. It’s a really good question. My experience with camera/housing for D100/D200/D300 and D800 has been about 30% if I’m lucky of purchase price aer about 3 years if the system was perhaps not more than 2 generations. That said, I’ve just sold a whole bunch of Nikon lenses and a D5. The lenses ranged from 30% to 80% (the latter for a 300mmFR and a 24mmPC). I’d be embarrassed to say how much I got for a Nikon D5 in pristine condition. I was genuinely horrified. I think I’d be almost suggesting get rid of non-mirrorless fast!
